Rowan Lapi (Nov. 1)

Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week – Senior Captain Rowan Lapi earned Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week honors for her performance in a 2-1 victory in the Big Ten Quarterfinal over Rutgers. In the 19th minute, Lapi fired a shot from over 25 yards out past the Rutgers goalkeeper to level the score at 1-1. In addition to the goal, Lapi anchored the midfield for all 90 minutes, helping seal a berth in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinal against Penn State in Columbus. 

Caterina Regazzoni (Sept. 27)

Big Ten Freshman of the Week – First-year Caterina Regazzoni earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after tallying a goal and two assists against Nebraska in a 4-2 win on September 22. Regazzoni also put in a strong showing in a 2-1 triumph over Minnesota, earning a corner kick in the 71st minute that led to Rowan Lapi's game-winning goal. Regazzoni is the first Wildcat to win Freshman of the Week since Danika Austin (Oct. 1, 2019).

Danika Austin (Sept. 20)

Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week – For the second week in a row, Danika Austin was named to a National Team of the Week, this time by Top Drawer Soccer. Austin led Northwestern's defense in a 3-0 shutout win over Purdue on Sunday September 18. She played all 90 minutes and helped hold the Boilermakers scoreless and without a single shot on goal. The captain was credited with an assist on Meg Boade's goal in the 20th minute, her first of the year.

Danika Austin (Sept. 13)

College Soccer News' National Team of the Week – Senior Captain Danika Austin starred in defense in Northwestern's shutout victories over No. 6 Stanford and Butler. Austin was part of a defensive unit that held Stanford to season-lows in shots (11) and shots on goal (1). Austin played all 180 minutes of the Stanford and Butler games and is the Wildcats' leader in minutes played.

Rowan Lapi (Sept. 13)

Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week – Senior Captain Rowan Lapi tallied the lone goal in Northwestern's 1-0 win over No. 6 Stanford. After Aurea del Carmen drew a yellow card in the penalty area in the 23rd minute, Lapi stepped up to the spot and slotted one past the goalkeeper's outstretched gloves. Lapi anchored the midfield for all 180 minutes and had a massive defensive presence in both shutouts of Stanford and Butler. The award is Lapi's first career Big Ten Player of the Week honors and she is the first Wildcat to win the award since Emma Phillips (Sep. 6, 2022).

Mia Raben (Sept. 13)

Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week – Graduate Student Mia Raben earned her first career Goalkeeper of the Week award after stellar performances in goal against Stanford and Butler. Raben subbed on at halftime of both games, closing out both shutouts for the Wildcats. Raben made one save against Stanford and a season-high four saves against Butler, each in 45 minutes of action. Raben's biggest test came in the second half against Butler, when she stopped a Bulldog penalty kick in the 48th minute. This is her first time receiving Goalkeeper of the Week honors and she is the first Wildcat to win Goalkeeper of the Week since Mackenzie Wood (Oct. 1, 2019).

Emma Phillips (Sept. 6)

Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week – Sophomore Emma Phillips anchored the backline in back-to-back wins over DePaul and No. 19 Xavier. Phillips played 177 minutes in the two matches, only missing three minutes against DePaul. Tallied the game-winning goal against DePaul off a corner kick in the 77th minute. She added an assist off a Josie Aulicino free kick in the 12th minute to double the Wildcats lead over No. 19 Xavier. The two wins powered the Northwestern to a 4-1-1 start, its best since 2018. The Player of the Week award is the first of Phillips' collegiate career, and she's the first Wildcat to win the award since Hallie Pearson (Feb. 23, 2021).
