EAST LANSING, Mich. – Northwestern fell 65-46 at Michigan State at the Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats dropped to 11-5 and 3-2 in the conference.
Junior Laya Hartman and first-year Caileigh Walsh each scored 10 points.
Senior guard Veronica Burton added nine points, eight rebounds, five assists and six steals in another quadruple nickel.
The Wildcats return home on Thursday to host Penn State. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. CT and will be streamed on B1G+.
