Northwestern Hits the Road for BTN Game at Michigan

EVANSTON, Ill. – Winners of seven of its last eight games, the No. 4 Northwestern women's lacrosse team travels to No. 12 Michigan at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, March 26, for a game that will air on Big Ten Network. Dean Linke (play-by-play) and Caley Chelios (analyst) have the call.
 
Last Time Out
 Northwestern's defense allowed a season-low eight goals and won its third game in a row as it defeated Dartmouth 18-8 inside Ryan Fieldhouse on Monday night. Lauren Gilbert scored a game-high six goals and helped the Wildcats improve to 6-0 at home. Northwestern (7-2, 1-0 B1G) logged season-highs in shots (46) and ground balls (23) and tied its season best with 21 draw controls.

NU leads the Big Ten and ranks fourth nationally in draw controls per game (18.2). The Cats are eighth nationally in scoring offense (16.3).

Northwestern is 10-0 all-time against the Wolverines (9-1, 1-0 B1G), in a series that started in 2014. In last year's regular season finale, the Wildcats downed Northwestern 19-10 in Evanston. Izzy Scane scored six goals and Lauren Gilbert followed with three.
