EVANSTON, Ill. – The Wildcats finish their three-game road swing to start Big Ten play on Sunday at Maryland. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT from Ludwig Field and will be streamed on B1G+.

Northwestern is 5-4 (1-1 B1G) and coming off its best win of the season, a 2-1 takedown of No. 12 Penn State in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 4 in the latest NCAA RPI report. The Terrapins are 4-3-3 (0-2 B1G) and coming off a 0-0 draw with Nebraska. Their best win was a 2-0 victory over George Mason, ranked No. 123 in RPI, in their second match of the season.

The Wildcats pulled off their first win at Penn State in program history thanks to goals from senior Kaylee Titus and sophomore Josie Aulicino. Titus scored the first goal of her career while Aulicino finished her fifth goal of the season.

Aulicino leads the Northwestern offense with 16 points on five goals and six assists. She ranks second in the Big Ten in points and is tied for the most assists in the conference and tied for the seventh-most goals. She leads the conference with four game-winning goals (William and Mary, Illinois State, DePaul, Penn State) and ranks 13th nationally. She also ranks 13th nationally in assists per game with 0.75.

The Wildcats are averaging 1.67 goals per game with eight different goal scorers on the season. Senior forward Olivia Stone picked up her second assist of the season against Penn State after playing through Aulicino.

Senior goalkeeper Mackenzie Wood has made 35 saves this season, the fourth most in the conference.

Northwestern owns a 4-1-1 advantage all-time against Maryland, winning last season's matchup 1-0 at Ryan Fieldhouse. The game-winnning goal was scored by Stone with the assist coming from Aulicino.
