Slater, Newsome II Confirm 2021 NFL Draft Participation

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern's Rashawn Slater and Greg Newsome II are among the 58 prospects – 13 on-site in Cleveland and 45 virtually – to confirm participation in the 2021 NFL Draft, which begins on Thursday April 29 at 7 p.m. CT. Slater will be on-site in Cleveland for the first round, while Newsome II will be featured virtually on the NFL Draft television broadcast as well as across the NFL Media landscape.

DRAFT SCHEDULE
7:00 PM CT, Thursday, April 29 (Round 1).
6:00 PM CT, Friday, April 30 (Rounds 2-3).
11 AM CT, Saturday, May 1 (Rounds 4-7).
There will be 259 selections, including 37 compensatory choices that have been awarded to 17 teams that suffered a net loss of certain quality unrestricted free agents last year.

The 2021 NFL Draft will be televised nationally by NFL Network, ABC, ESPN and ESPN Deportes, and can be heard nationwide on Westwood One Radio, SiriusXM NFL Radio and ESPN Radio.
