EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern celebrates senior day with an opportunity with stun No. 8 Maryland at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip off is set for 3 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Fans can tune into the senior day ceremonies on Youtube at this link. The stream will start approximately at 2:40 p.m. CT and end once the ceremonies are over, and fans must tune into ESPN2 to watch the game.
The Wildcats are coming off a 67-61 win over Illinois featuring their biggest comeback of the year, a 14-point deficit in the first quarter.
Veronica Burton led the way with 20 points on 12-12 shooting from the charity stripe, tied for the second most makes in a game without a miss in program history.
The Wildcats will honor their four seniors, Brooke Pikiell, Lauryn Satterwhite, Jordan Hamilton and Maryland native, Lindsey Pulliam. The class has combined for over 2700 points, 750 rebounds and 600 assists and last season helped post a program record 26 wins and the first Big Ten Championship at Northwestern since 1990.
The 'Cats split the season series with the Terps last year, winning 81-58 at home and dropping a tight 70-61 decision on the road.
