EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 24 Northwestern looks to end a rare losing streak against Wisconsin on Saturday at home. Tip off is set for 2 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network+.
The Wildcats fell to Nebraska, 71-64, in a frustrating outing on Wednesday, despite winning the turnover battle 26-4 and attempting 27 more shots than the Huskers.
Lindsey Pulliam led NU with 22 points, Veronica Burton recorded a career-high eight steals, and Jordan Hamilton posted her first career double-double with 10 and 10.
Burton now leads the nation in steals per game with 4.3, and continues to lead the Big Ten in the category for the third season in a row.
The Wildcats' turnover margin once again leads the nation at +10.0.
Northwestern won the first matchup this season against the Badgers, 80-55 on the road. Four 'Cats scored either 15 or 14 points in a balanced effort.
