EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern women's basketball team teamed up with Santa For A Day to fulfill the wish lists of disadvantaged children in the Chicagoland area.
Founded in 2018, Santa for a Day turns children's wishes into reality by collecting their lists, matching gift requests to supportive donors, and delivering the gifts to the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA).
Â
Following the delivery, children receive their gifts at a holiday party hosted by the Chicago Housing Authority.
Â
Over the weekend, Wildcats' student-athletes supported Santa For A Day's mission by organizing, alphabetizing and wrapping gifts. Over 100 gifts were wrapped to bring joy to children during the holiday season. Â
