EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern travels to North Carolina on Tuesday to take on Wake Forest in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU.

Northwestern is 10-12 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Last season, the Wildcats dropped a narrow 71-70 contest to Pitt in Evanston to snap a three-game win streak in the Challenge. NU has won four of its last six Challenge matches dating back to 2015, and are 4-7 all-time on the road. The Big Ten is 2-0 in the Challenge so far this season after wins by Iowa and Illinois on Monday.

The Wildcats are 5-1 on the season and are coming off a 78-62 victory over Georgia in the Legends Classic last Tuesday. Boo Buie led the way against Georgia with 22 points and six assists, while Ryan Young contributed 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting.

The 'Cats have now started 5-1 in back-to-back seasons.

Northwestern is the only school in the Big Ten to have two players averaging at least 17.0 points per game, Pete Nance leads the team with 17.7 ppg (seventh in conference), while Boo Buie ranks just behind him in eighth at 17.5 ppg. Nance and Buie's 211 combined points are the most for the 'Cats through their first six games of a season since 2011-12, when John Shurna and Drew Crawford combined for 240 points.t
