EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern wraps up its home-stand on Thursday, welcoming Fairleigh Dickinson to Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. CT and will be televised on Big Ten Network.

After wins over Eastern Illinois, High Point, and New Orleans, the Wildcats are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2018. The last time Northwestern started 4-0 was the 2014-15 season.

Last time out, the 'Cats took down New Orleans, 83-67. Pete Nance finished with a team-high 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four blocks, while Ty Berry posted a career high 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting from deep.

The Wildcats outscored New Orleans 49-30 in the second half, now outscoring opponents 149-84 in the second half this season. Northwestern closed the game on a 25-8 run, holding New Orleans scoreless for the final 2:25.

As of Wednesday, Boo Buie leads the Big Ten with 7.3 assists per game, while averaging 16.3 points per game. Buie is currently the only Power 5 player to average 15+ points and 7+ assists per game this season.

This is the second-ever matchup between Northwestern and Fairleigh Dickinson, with the Wildcats winning the only previous contest 80-53 in 2012.

Northwestern's Elyjah Williams, a graduate transfer from Fairleigh Dickinson, will be matched up for the first time against his old team. Williams scored 1050 points over four seasons with the Knights.

After Thursday's game, the 'Cats will head on the road for the first time this season. Northwestern will participate in the Legends Classic in Newark, NJ next week, before road contests against Wake Forest and Maryland.
