Northwestern Volleyball Inks Best Signing Class in Program History

EVANSTON, Ill. – Head coach Shane Davis announced the addition of Sienna Noordermeer, Kathryn Randorf, Averie Hernandez, and Kennedy Hill to the Northwestern Volleyball program as a part of National Signing Day. The incoming Class of 2022 is ranked 7th by PrepVolleyball.com, marking the top-rated class in program history.
"I am thrilled to welcome these four incredible student-athletes and their families to Northwestern Volleyball," said Davis. "The class of 2022 is a historic class for our program. Sienna, Kathryn, Averie and Kennedy will undoubtedly be leaders in the classroom and the community while contributing to the momentum of our program,"
Sienna Noordermeer joins Northwestern from Los Angeles, Calif. and Village Christian High School, where she led her team to a conference championship in 2021. Noordermeer has garnered a number of individual awards in her high school career, including being named to the 2021 AVCA All-American Best and Brightest First Team.
Ohio's 2020 Gatorade Player of the Year Kathryn Randorf joins the Wildcats out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Randorf holds both the career kills and blocks records at her high school, Gilmour Academy, where she led her team to a 2020 State Championship. Randorf is the 17th-ranked recruit in the nation according to PrepVolleyball.com.
Normal Community West High School's all-time kills leader Averie Hernandez comes to Northwestern from Bloomington, Ill. Hernandez is a three-time Illinois All-State selection and was nominated for the 2020 Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year. She has registered over 1,000 career kills and led her team to Regional Championships in 2018 and 2021.
Kennedy Hill joins the Wildcats from Harvard-Westlake in Los Angeles. The Sherman Oaks, Calif. native is a four-year letterwinner as a middle blocker at Harvard-Westlake and was a 2019 All-Mission League selection. Kennedy won the USAV 17 Open National Championship in 2021 with Sunshine Volleyball Club.
