EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern completed its preseason preparations with a 70-58 win over Parkside on Sunday evening at Welsh-Ryan Arena in an exhibition.
Senior guard Veronica Burton led the way with 14 points, six steals, six rebounds and five assists.Â

First year Jillian Brown added 10 points and six rebounds while her classmate Melannie Daley scored eight points on 4-6 shooting.Â

The Wildcats outrebounded the Rangers 53-33.Â
Northwestern begins the 2021-22 season on Wednesday with its first official contest against UIC. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. CT at Welsh-Ryan Arena and will be streamed on B1G+.
