EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern men's soccer takes a break from Big Ten play to host Villanova at Martin Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. CT and will be streamed on B1G+.

The Wildcats are coming off their second Big Ten win of the season, an impressive 2-0 victory at Wisconsin on Tuesday, with goals from Collin McCamy and Justin Weiss and an impressive assist form Vicente Castro. Senior goalkeeper Miha Miskovic recorded his fourth shutout of the season. The win improved Northwestern to 5-7-2 overall.

Weiss scored his sixth goal of the season to remain in a tie for the most goals in the Big Ten. His 14 points lead the Wildcat offense while Castro has produced nine coming on a team-high five assists.

Villanova is 8-6 overall and 4-2 on the road this season. Their Wildcat offense is led by Lyam Mackinnon, who has 16 points on six goals and four assists. Villanova has scored 17 goals and conceded 19 in 14 games, owing its positive record and negative goal difference to.a 4-0 defeat at Big Ten opponents Penn State. Northwestern fell 2-1 at Jeffrey Field earlier this season.

Villanova's head coach Tom Carlin is returning to Evanston after a successful stint as an associate head coach of Northwestern men's soccer under Tim Lenahan in 2006 and 2007. His time on the sideline's included the program's best ever postseason run to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in 2006.
