10/19/2021 8:59:00 PM | Men's Soccer
MADISON, Wis. – Northwestern defeated Wisconsin 2-0 on the road on Tuesday night behind goals from Collin McCamy and Justin Weiss.
The Wildcats improved to 5-7-2 on the season and earned their second Big Ten win. They handed a loss to a strong Badgers team, dropping them to 7-4-3 and 3-2-1 in conference.
McCamy scored his first career goal on a curling shot from distance in the first half.
The Wildcats added their second goal in the second half on a fantastic play by midfielder Vicente Castro. The junior dribbled past four Wisconin players to get to the byline and squred the ball to Weiss, who snuck the ball past the Badger keeper into the goal.
The assist was Castro's team-high fifth of the season, which ties for the second most in the Big Ten. Weiss scored his team high sixth goal of the sesaon, which is tied for the most in the conference.
Senior goalkeeper Miha Miskovic made four saves while recording his fourth shutout of the season. His best save came late on a set piece to deny the Badgers at close range.
The Wildcats are back at Martin Stadium on Sunday, when they host Big East foe Villanova. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. CT and will be streamed on Big Ten Network+.

It was a strong effort from the Wildcat backline as a whole, led by Deng Deng Kur, Spencer Farina, and Quinn Dudek, among others. An unreal double save from @Mihajlo_Miha_1 to keep it scoreless ??????????
