EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern men's basketball earned recognition this week from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for its accomplishments in the classroom.

As a program, the Wildcats received a nod to the Team Academic Excellence Awards list, which recognizes outstanding achievements by a team with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2019-20 season. Northwestern men's basketball turned in a team GPA of 3.2 this season.

In addition to the team award, the NABC also recognized senior Tino Malnati and junior Eric Zalewski to its 2019-20 Honors Court.
