EVANSTON, Ill.. - The Northwestern Wildcats will head to Lincoln the Nebraska Cornhuskers Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 3:15 p.m on Big Ten Network and can be heard on WGN 720 AM.
Sunday's matchup marks only 17th all-time meeting between the Wildcats and Cornhuskers and the second meeting this season. NU hosted Nebraska back in January, earning the 62-57 victory. Miller Kopp led the team in scoring with 15 points. Robbie Beran picked up his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.
The 'Cats have won 5 of the last 7 matchups against the Cornhuskers.
STORYLINES
The Opening Tip: The Wildcats are looking for their first season sweep over Nebraska since the 2016-17 season. Northwestern's last Big Ten sweep came in 2017-18 when the Wildcats picked up a pair of wins over Minnesota.
Miller Time: Miller Kopp scored 14 points vs. Illinois (2/27/20) to surpass 500 career points (509 career points).
