- Hrustich now leads all Big Ten first-years in slugging percentage (.522) and is second with a .304 average and .929 OPS (minimum 20 plate appearances).

Last weekend's series victory over South Carolina marks the first time in program history that Northwestern has won a series against an SEC opponent.
- The Wildcats' last win over a SEC foe prior to last weekend came in 1998 against Vanderbilt.
- The Wildcats own winning records against two SEC programs: Alabama and Vanderbilt. The 'Cats are now 7-7 all-time against South Carolina.

Breakout Bullpen
- The WIldcats' bullpen has produced an effective 3.53 ERA over 28 innings to begin the season.

- Senior Sam Lawrence has made four appearances out of the 'pen for a total of 6.1 innings. He has no runs and allowed only three baserunners while striking out eight.
