EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 14 Wildcats head to Ohio State on Tuesday in pursuit of a Big Ten Title with two games remaining in the regular season. Tip-off against the Buckeyes is set for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, with the game televised on BTN.

Northwestern owns a 24-3 overall record with a 14-2 mark in the Big Ten. Head coach Joe McKeown's squad is tied for first place atop the conference with Maryland with two games to play and can clinch a share of the Big Ten title by winning out. The 'Cats are riding a seven-game win streak, their second such streak of the season.

The 'Cats have just one Big Ten title in program history, coming at the end of the 1989-90 season. That team set the record for most wins in a season in the NCAA era with 24, while the outright program record is 25 wins, set in 1978-79, before the NCAA was established in 1980.

Northwestern jumped four spots in the latest AP Top 25 Poll on Monday to No. 14. The rankings is Northwestern's first appearance in the top 15 since December of 2015, when the 'Cats were No. 12, the highest ranking in McKeown's tenure in Evanston.

Junior guard Lindsey Pulliam earned ESPNW Player of the Week and Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday for her efforts in Northwestern's two most recent wins against Rutgers and Wisconsin. Pulliam averaged 27.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while posting back-to-back 25-point games for the first time in her career.

After scoring 80+ points in back-to-back games, the Wildcat offense is as balanced as ever with four scorers averaging double digits: Veronica Burton, Abi Scheid, Abbie Wolf and the aforementioned Pulliam. The 'Cats also shot above 50% from the field in both contests.

The Wildcats are up to No. 8 in the latest RPI reports according to WarrenNolan.com. The program last made the NCAA Tournament in the 2014-15 season and last hosted an NCAA Tournament game as a No. 8 seed in the 1992-93 season.

Ohio State enters Tuesday conference with a 17-10 record and a 10-6 mark in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes' RPI rank is 21 and before falling at Rutgers on a game-winning shot wiht under five seconds to play on Sunday, they had previously won six straight games.
