Meet The Team Night Set for August 23 At Ryan Fieldhouse

Evanston, Ill.- Northwestern football has scheduled its annual Meet The Team Night at Ryan Fieldhouse on Friday, August 23. Fans are asked to park in the north garage of Walter Athletics Facility, and can enter the Ryan Fieldhouse main entrance beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Following entry upon into the facility, Wildcat supporters will travel to Wilson Field where they will get a chance to experience an exciting program with the reigning Big Ten West Division Champions at 6 p.m. At this time Dan and Susan Jones Family Head Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald will announce the 2019 Northwestern team captains and provide an outlook for what to expect from the Wildcats this season.
After the program, fans will be directed outside to Hutcheson Field to meet the players at stations and have time to receive autographs from their favorite 'Cats. At 6:40 p.m., Northwestern Kids Club members will earn primary access for autographs followed by the general public at 6:50 p.m. Northwestern Athletics will have 2019 football posters and schedule cards available for fans to take and get signed. In addition, fans will have a chance to purchase the latest NU Athletic gear courtesy of Let's Tailgate and discounted food and drink will be available as well.
The 'Cats begin their season with a highly-anticipated showdown against Stanford on Saturday, August 31 (WGN 720, FOX). Northwestern is currently in one of the most successful stretches in program history, accumulating 26 total victories and three bowl wins in three years. Ryan Field will play host to a slew of major programs this season, including Michigan State (Sept. 21), Ohio State (Oct. 18) and Iowa (Oct. 26).
