Dear Northwestern,

Thank you for providing me with the resources and experiences for me to continue on my path of lifelong learning.

While leaving this campus will be a transition, it is one that I'm confident my time as a student-athlete has prepared me for.

I think about problems on and off the field in a more critical and productive way.

I am conscious about every element of my environment and am not afraid communicate, lead, and work hard.

I have a lot more learning to do as I progress into professional athletics and whatever follows, but I come into it all with an open mind.

And, as I navigate this new stage, I am grateful for the people you have brought into my life—the coaches, professors, teammates, and friends who have taught me and supported me throughout my college experience. These people are not attached to a single place and will stay with me forever.
