EVANSTON, Ill. – Sophomore guard Lindsey Pulliam and senior forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah earned All-Big Ten Team selections, the conference announced Monday afternoon. The awards were revealed live on The Women's Sports Report on Big Ten Network.
Pulliam was named First Team All-Big Ten as selected by the conference's coaches and media after averaging 16.7 points per game, the fourth highest mark in the Big Ten. Kunaiyi-Akpanah received a First Team All-Big Ten selection by the conference media and a Second Team nod by the coaches.
Pulliam has led the Wildcats in scoring all season. The Silver Spring, Maryland native owns the fifth longest double-digit scoring streak in Northwestern history at 28 games and has recorded 483 total points in her sophomore campaign.
Kunaiyi-Akpanah pulled down her 1,000th career rebound against Nebraska on Feb. 21 in Welsh-Ryan Arena. Junior Bryana Hopkins, who averages 16.3 minutes per game, received the Big Ten Sportsmanship honor.
