Law, Pardon Earn Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Recognition

2018-19 ALL-BIG TEN TEAMS AND AWARDS
EVANSTON, Ill. — Seniors Vic Law and Dererk Pardon earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Law received recognition from the media, while Pardon's nod came from both the coaches and media.
Law led Northwestern with 15.0 points per game this season, which is a career-best scoring average for the South Holland, Illinois, native and is tied for 11th among league players. He also paced NU in minutes per game (33.2), free throws made (92), assists (90) and steals (31). Law ranks 13th in scoring on NU's all-time list with 1,442 career points, ninth in rebounds (711) and 10th in three-pointers made (193).
Pardon was the lone Wildcat to start and play in all 31 games this season. He scored a career-best 13.9 points per game and brought in a single-season high 244 rebounds. Pardon ranks first in school history with a career field goal percentage of .603. The Cleveland, Ohio, native has tallied nine double-doubles this season and 18 in his career, which ranks fourth in program history. Pardon's 780 career rebounds rank fifth all-time at Northwestern and his 149 career blocks ranks second.
Pardon was honorable mention All-Big Ten by the media in 2017-18.
In addition to the All-Big Ten recognition, Pardon was Northwestern's 2018-19 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.
The Wildcats earned the 14-seed in the 2019 Big Ten Tournament and play 11-seed Illinois on Wednesday, March 13, at the United Center. Tip is set for 8 p.m. CT and will air on Big Ten Network and ESPN Radio AM-1000.
