EVANSTON, Ill.
– The Wildcats will host Dartmouth for the fifth game of their homestand on Saturday afternoon at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. CT.

After their 66-63 victory against Boston College for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, the 'Cats improved to 6-1 on the season. Their win was part of the five-team sweep of the night, carrying Big Ten Women's Basketball to their first win in challenge history by a score of 9-5.

Northwestern held the Eagles to 15 points below their scoring average for the season. Junior Lindsay Pulliam led the 'Cats with 25 points. Additionally, her five rebounds and 10 field goals set new season highs for Pulliam.

Senior Byrdy Galernik continued her impressive string of performances this season with 13 points. She also dominated from the free throw line, keeping her free throw percentage at 100 percent on the season.

The Wildcats were as tenacious as ever on defense, forcing Boston College to turn over the ball 21 times. Sophomore Veronica Burton had another three steals, retaining her position as leader of the Big Ten and moving up to the top five in NCAA rankings with 3.9 per game.

Dartmouth also boasts an impressive defense, forcing an average of 16.8 turnovers per game. They also average three blocks per game, but the 'Cats follow close behind with 2.8. The last time Northwestern played Dartmouth was in 2010 when the Wildcats came away with a 66-37 victory in Evanston.

Big Green will travel to Evanston with a 3-2 record, averaging 55.8 points per game. They are currently on a two-game losing streak on the road.
