EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern will play the final game of its six-game homestand against UT Arlington on Monday for Field Trip Day at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m.
The Wildcats are coming off a dominant 79-37 win over Dartmouth, which improved their record to 7-1 on the season. Northwestern impressed on both sides of the ball, posting season highs in shooting percentage, points, assists, blocked shots, and steals.
Junior Lindsey Pulliam led the team in scoring with 16 points, and sophomore Courtney Shaw added a career-high 11 points. Pulliam and Shaw were two of four Wildcats to reach double digits in the game, with seniors Abbie Wolf and Abi Scheid adding 14 points each.
On the defensive side, sophomore Sydney Wood set a new career-high with four steals, and sophomore Veronica Burton's three steals preserved her Big Ten lead in that category. The 'Cats also forced 24 Dartmouth turnovers, matching their season high, and held Big Green to 19 points below their scoring average for the season.
