Thomas-Ailara Earns AVCA All-Region Honors

EVANSTON, IL – First-year Temi Thomas-Ailara was selected to the 2019 AVCA North All-Region Team, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Tuesday afternoon.

Thomas-Ailara led Northwestern with 398 kills, the fourth most of any first-year in program history and was second most among all Big Ten players in kills per set.

During the 2019 season, the Illinois native earned four Big Ten Freshman of the week honors, second team All-Big Ten honors and was selected to the Big Ten All-Freshman team.
