Northwestern Baseball Announces 2020 Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern announced its full 2020 schedule this week highlighted by 23 games at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park.

In addition to six home weekend series and a handful of midweek contests, the 'Cats will travel across the country to face a collection of talented opponents including South Carolina, South Florida in their nonconference schedule.
The Wildcats begin their season on Feb. 14, playing three games against Nebraska-Omaha in Glendale, Arizona at Camelback Ranch, the Spring Training home of the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Northwestern will hit the road the next week to face the South Carolina Gamecocks for a three-game series starting on Feb. 21, followed by a series at South Florida starting on Feb. 28.
The 'Cats then take on UIC in the first of three matchups this season on Mar. 3 in Chicago before finishing their season-opening 13-game road trip back in South Carolina with a three-game series against USC-Upstate (Mar. 6-8)
Northwestern will welcome Kent State for the home opener series at Miller Park on Mar. 12.
The Wildcats will welcome seven more non-conference opponents to Miller Park, including Xavier (April 3-5) and Notre Dame (May 12).
Chicago's Big Team begins conference play in its first homestand in March with a three-game series against Penn State (March 20-22). Other home conference matchups include Indiana (April 10-12), Rutgers (May 1-3), and Ohio State (May 14-16). Northwestern will travel to Nebraska (March 27-29), Minnesota (April 17-19), Illinois (April 24-26), and Iowa (May 8-10) for its conference road matchups.
The Wildcats will conclude the regular season hosting Ohio State with an eye on the Big Ten Tournament, which begins on May 20 in Omaha, Neb.
