The Northwestern women's cross country team wrapped up a busy Saturday after competing at two separate events: The Buckeye Preview in Columbus, OH. and the Loyola Lakefront Invite in Chicago, IL.

In Columbus, Rachel McCardell placed 31^st out of 131 individuals with a time of  on the course that will be the host of the Big Ten Championships later this fall.  As a team, Northwestern finished 11^th out of 12. 
 
At Loyola, Northwestern finished 14^th out of 18, led by junior, Amanda Davis with a time of 19:06. 
 
The Wildcats return to preparation for NCAA Pre Nationals on Oct. 19 in Terra Haute, IN.
