GAME TWO
Northwestern won the second game of the doubleheader, 3-2, in 10 innings.

Ryan Bader started the game and delivered a career-high 6.0 IP, allowing only two runs and walking none.

The Spartans again scored first in the nightcap with a run in the first inning. NU, however, quickly responded with an RBI double from Casey O'Laughlin that drove in Willie Bourbon.

NU took the lead in the fifth inning with an RBI single from Alex Erro that drove in Jack Kelly.

MSU tied it up again on a solo home run in the sixth inning.

Coming out of the bullpen, Nick Paciorek was electric, tossing 2.0-shutout innings while striking out three.

Josh Levy continued his stretch of remarkable relief, tossing 1.1-shutout innings while striking out two. He extended his streak of no-hit pitching to 9.1 innings pitched, dating back to March 27 against Chicago State, before allowing a single.
