Northwestern Will Host Open Practice, Youth Clinic April 14

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern fans will have the opportunity to see the Wildcats in action during the team's open practice on Saturday, April 14 at Ryan Field, and afterward, young 'Cats fans can interact with and learn from Northwestern student-athletes.
The defending Music City Bowl champions will take the field at 9:45 a.m. Admission and parking are free, and seating in the stadium is general admission. Gates open at 9 a.m., and the concession stands will be open throughout the event.
Immediately following the open practice, young Northwestern fans in the eighth grade and under are invited to participate in a free skills clinic. Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic football drills and fundamentals while interacting with members of the Northwestern football team.

The Wildcats capped off their 2017 campaign with eight-straight wins, including a 24-23 victory over Kentucky in the 20th Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl to finish 10-3 overall. The 'Cats will enter 2018 with the longest active winning streak among Power 5 schools and will play the best home schedule in the country with visits from Notre Dame, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Season tickets are available on NUSports.com or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE.
