EVANSTON, Ill. -- Chicago's Big Ten Team continues conference play this week, visiting No. 21 Michigan in Ann Arbor Thursday and returning home to host Iowa Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Wildcats are coming off a thrilling overtime game at Indiana, where first year Lindsey Pulliam scored a career-high 33 points. The last time the 'Cats met Michigan, four players scored in double-figures, including a double-double from junior Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah, who had 11 points and 14 rebounds. The game Thursday is set to tip at 6 p.m. CT.
Sunday's game against Iowa is Club Sports Day at Northwestern, where participants from campus club sports teams are encouraged to attend in order to be entered into a raffle for funds for their team. The grand prize is $250 if 25 or more total club sport participants attend or $500 if 50 or more attend. Each team must have at least three members in attendance to be eligible to win.
There will be free shuttles to the game for students to attend, and students that arrive early can enjoy free Portillo's catering!
Sunday will mark the Wildcats' first meeting against Iowa this season. Their last matchup came during the first round of the 2017 Big Ten Tournament, where Northwestern defeated Iowa, 78-73. The game will be held at historic Beardsley Gym with an afternoon tip set for 2 p.m.
Both games will be streamed online via BTN Plus on BTN2Go, and WNUR will have the call on the air. Live statistics will be available. Links for all can be found in the table at the top of the page.
Following this weekend, the Wildcats will wrap up the regular season with four more games, including two at home against Illinois and Rutgers.
