Four Wildcats to Try Out for U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team

EVANSTON, Ill. — USA Volleyball is gearing up for its U.S. Women's National Team Open Tryouts on March 2-4, and four Northwestern players are scheduled to attend.
Lexi Pitsas (Fy.), Nia Robinson (Fy.), Taylor Tashima (Sr.) and Alana Walker (Fy.) will all be attending the tryout in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The event begins Friday, March 2 at 3 p.m. CT. USA Volleyball will stream the action live on their site.

The open tryout will bring in 234 players representing 89 different universities, all vying for spots on the U.S. Women's National Team and U.S. Collegiate National Team programs.
Each athlete will go through one tryout session on March 2, two sessions on March 3, and will conclude with a morning session on March 4.
The tryout will be conducted by three-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Olympic Hall of Famer Karch Kiraly and the U.S. Women's National Team staff, including Northwestern Associate Head Coach Erin Virtue, one of three assistant coaches on Kiraly's staff for the Olympic quadrennial.
