BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Northwestern heads to Indiana this weekend to kick off a two-game road swing. The Wildcats will square off first against the Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT at Assembly Hall.
The game will be televised nationally on Big Ten Network.
The 'Cats have won seven out of the past 11 games against Indiana, including an 80-67 win at home last season. Indiana leads the all-time series, 39-36.
Junior forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah finished last Sunday's game against No. 16 Michigan with her third straight double-double (11 points, 14 rebounds) and her 13th of the season. Sophomore forward Abi Scheid (18), first-year guard Lindsey Pulliam (15), and sophomore forward Bryana Hopkins (10) all scored in double figures.
Pulliam and Scheid both average double-digit scoring this season, with 14.2 and 13.0 points per game, respectively. Scheid has now finished 19 of 23 games this season with 10 or more points.
After Indiana, the Wildcats continue their time on the road, heading to Ann Arbor to go back up against Michigan, now ranked No. 13, on Thursday, Feb. 8. That game is set for 6 p.m.
