EVANSTON, Ill. — Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon will host their popular ESPN debate and discussion show (weekdays, 4:30 p.m. CT) from Northwestern's new Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Ill., on Friday, Nov. 16.
"I think it is an awesome opportunity for both schools," said Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins. "It's great exposure for our program and it gives us another chance to put the new Welsh-Ryan Arena on a national stage."
Doors will open at 2:45 p.m. CT ahead of the 3:15 p.m. CT taping. Admission and parking are free of charge and light concessions will be made available. Fans interested in attending the 6 p.m. CT contest will have to purchase a ticket for the game.
Based in Washington, D.C., Kornheiser and Wilbon have worked together since the early 1980s when they were sports writers at The Washington Post. They have co-hosted PTI together the past 17 years. (Note: The last PTI road show with both Kornheiser and Wilbon was at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. in July.)
