EVANSTON, Ill. — No. 17 Northwestern will begin their season on Sunday against North Dakota State. The match will begin at noon CT.

Last season, the 'Cats went 11-4 in dual competition. At the 2018 NCAA Championships last March, 125-pounder Sebastian Rivera fought his way to an All-America honor with a sixth place finish.

Northwestern is under the leadership of Head Coach Matt Storniolo for the fourth season. Storniolo will be joined by returning Associate Head Coach Andrew Howe and Assistant Coach Cody Brewer, who was promoted from volunteer coach in the offseason.

After the match against North Dakota State, the 'Cats will have two weeks to prepare for Virginia Tech before they face them on Nov. 18 for their home opener.
