"The Foundation" Season Finale Airs Thursday On NBC Sports Chicago

EVANSTON, Ill. – "The Foundation", an Emmy Award-winning production of StudioN, returns with back-to-back new episodes Wednesday and Thursday on NBC Sports Chicago and all Northwestern Athletics digital channels.
The 2018 season premiere of "The Foundation: Northwestern Basketball" debuts on January 3 at 5:30 p.m. CT. The Season 3 finale of "The Foundation: Northwestern Football" airs on Thursday, January 4 at 9:30 p.m. CT.
Wednesday's episode documents Wildcats men's basketball through the offseason and into the 2017-18 campaign, including a victorious early-December start to Big Ten Conference play. On Thursday fans can go behind-the-scenes with the 'Cats for weeks of preparation leading up to a triumphant 2017 Music City Bowl performance in Nashville. Both episodes will air multiple times on NBC Sports Chicago (schedule below) and on the official Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages of Northwestern Athletics.

The series, produced by Northwestern Athletics' own Studio N, won the 2017 Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sports Programs – Program Series, for its coverage of the historic 2016-17 Wildcats men's basketball season.
