EVANSTON, Ill. — Chicago's Big Ten Team invites all young Wildcats to historic Beardsley Gym for National Girls & Women in Sports Day for a matchup against #16 Michigan Sunday, January 28. The NGWSD event is set to begin at 12 p.m., and tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
The Wildcats are coming off of a nailbiter against #14 Maryland on Thursday night and seek to challenge the second-place team in the Big Ten in Michigan on Sunday.
Northwestern student-athletes and sports industry professionals will join participants in interactive discussions and activities surrounding healthy lifestyles. Check in begins at 11:30 a.m., with sessions starting at 12 p.m. and lasting until 1:30 p.m. before the #B1GCats tipoff against the Wolverines.
Tickets are only $3, which includes admission to the event as well as the game. The event is open to individuals in the 8th grade and under.
