What is next for our 2018 Graduates?

EVANSTON, Ill. — With graduation in the rearview mirror, NUSports.com asked the Class of 2018 what is next for them. The responses:
 
BASEBALL
JACK CLAEYS - I will be starting my professional career with Slalom Consulting as a business analyst. I am excited to join their Business Advisory Services team this August.
 
CONNOR LIND - After graduation, I will be working in Chicago as a cyber security account executive for Darktrace. 
 
JR REIMER - Following graduation I plan to help begin a startup over the summer through the Northwestern's Garage Wildfire program. In the fall, I will begin my career at PwC as a management consulting associate with a focus on the healthcare industry. 
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
MAYA JONAS - I am taking a gap year to travel before pursuing my passion in veterinary medicine the following year.
 
LYDIA ROHDE - I will be working as an operations specialist for Mazda in the Chicago area. Thank you Northwestern!
 
OCEANA HAMILTON - I plan on pursuing a professional basketball career this fall.
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
GAVIN SKELLY – I will begin my career as a medical sales representative for Abbott Laboratories.
 
BRYANT MCINTOSH - I will begin my career as a professional basketball player. 
 
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
BROOKE PIGNERI – I will be attending the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy in fall 2018 to earn my PharmD.
 
WOMEN'S FENCING
KATIE VAN RIPER – Following graduation, I will spend the summer working as a curatorial and education Intern at the Martha's Vineyard Museum in Massachusetts.  In September, I will be moving to England to attend the University of Durham where I will pursue an MA in museum and artifact studies and compete for their fencing team.
 
FIELD HOCKEY
SOPHIA MILLER - I will be traveling to Europe this summer and then working at PNC Bank in Chicago as a corporate finance analyst starting in August.
 
PASCALE MASSEY - After graduating from Northwestern, I will be a marketing associate at the Chicago start-up, OppLoans. 
 
ELENA CURLEY - After graduation, I plan to stay in Chicago to work as a recruitment consultant at Rockstar Coders.
 
FOOTBALL
LLOYD YATES - I will be continuing my entrepreneurial journey in Los Angeles and will work in the film and fashion industries working on my startup ventures.
 
LUKE OTTO - I graduated from Kellogg last month and for the past three weeks, I've been working as a management consultant at Kenway Consulting in downtown Chicago.
 
PARRKER WESTPHAL – I will be dedicating myself towards creating more opportunities for the youth of Chicago through education and revitalizing Chicago's urban real estate market.
 
WOMEN'S GOLF
HANNAH KIM - I'm excited to pursue my dream of professional golf.
 
SARA CHO – I am looking forward to working in the marketing and communications industry. 
 
MEN'S GOLF
SAM TRIPLETT - After graduating, I will be heading back home to Arizona to start my career playing professional golf. 
 
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
LYNDSEY LAFITTE - I am taking a gap year before attending medical school in the fall of 2019. Until then, I am staying in Chicago and working at a health care related technology company called NowPow. 
 
SHELBY FREDERICKS - I will be getting my masters in sports administration from Northwestern, and then will pursue a career as a Division I head women's lacrosse coach. 
 
LINDSAY DARRELL - I will be staying in Chicago for the next year working at Chicago Speech Therapy, and then attending graduate school the following year.
 
TARA CHELIOS - I would like to do volunteer work after I graduate.  
 
OLIVIA HARPEL - I am excited to spend the next two years in Williamsburg, Virginia, getting a master's in business administration and being a part of the lacrosse program at the College of William & Mary. 
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER
MACKENZIE HOWE – I majored in economics with a minor in business institutions, and next year I will be working as a financial advisor associate for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management here in Chicago.
 
LAUREN CLEM – I will play professional soccer for IK Uppsala in Sweden for the remainder of 2018, and hope to either extend my contract or attend a Physician's Assistant program in 2019.
 
GRACE ORNDORFF - I will be working in Chicago at Mesirow Financial as a fixed income analyst.
 
MEN'S SOCCER
ELO OZUMBA – I will pursue my professional soccer dreams abroad. I am currently playing professionally in Finland.
 
FRANCISCO TOMASINO - I will be working as a pricing and revenue management analyst at United Airlines next year. I am very excited and look forward to applying everything I have learned from being a student-athlete at Northwestern,
 
RILEY KELLIHER – I will be attending Kellogg's MSMS program.
 
SOFTBALL
ABIGAIL BOYD - Starting in the fall I'll be attending Iowa State University to pursue a PhD in Food Science as a USDA National Needs Fellow. 
 
RENEE ARIOLA - I will be getting my master's degree at Northwestern University in Speech Pathology. 
 
MARISSA PANKO - Taking a gap year then applying to graduate school for a doctorate in physical therapy (DPT).  
 
SABRINA RABIN - I am excited to attend medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Class of 2022, beginning this August
 
WOMEN'S SWIMMING
AJA MALONE - After graduating from Northwestern, I am participating in the Coach for College program and will be teaching English in rural Vietnam for the summer. I will then head to Oxford, England, to pursue a master's of science in international tourism management. 
 
MADELINE SIMS - I will be pursuing my master's degree at the Medill School of Journalism in the health, environment, and science specialization. I will also continue freelancing for a number of publications including Real Simple, Apartment Therapy, and Make It Better.
 
MARY WARREN - After graduation, I am working at Medline Industries and plan to stay in Chicago.
 
SYDNEY MODEAS - I have accepted a job with Level Office in Chicago and will start working shortly after graduation. Although I will miss Northwestern, I am very excited to start the next chapter of my life. Go Cats!!!
 
MONIQUE DEMAISIP - After graduation, I'm going to continue diving and hope to represent the Philippines in more international competitions.
 
MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
ALMOG OLSHTEIN - I will be moving to New York City to work for AQR Capital as a business development analyst.
 
NICK PETERSEN – I am moving to Wisconsin to begin working for Mercury Marine. 
 
WOMEN'S TENNIS
ALEXANDRIA CHATT - I am so excited to be staying in Chicago and to be working at Wellington Management!
 
ERIN LARNER - After graduation, I will take time to travel Europe before figuring out my next step in life.
 
VOLLEYBALL
SYMONE ABBOTT - I'll be playing professional volleyball in France. 
 
TAYLOR TASHIMA - I signed a contract with Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen, a professional volleyball club in Switzerland. NU has more than prepared me for this next step in my career. 
 
GABRIELLE HAZEN - I will be staying in Chicago and working as a saleswoman for Billtrust. 
 
WRESTLING
JASON IPSARIDES - I am excited to be starting my master's degree in nursing at Marquette University. I will use my master's degree to work as a nurse practitioner.
 
REGIS DURBIN -  I am working for a financial consulting firm.
 
LUKE NORLAND – I am pursuing employment opportunities in investment banking.
