Northwestern Hosts Mexico U-20 National Team April 25

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern women's soccer team will play host to the Mexico U-20 National Team under the lights at Martin Stadium next Tuesday, April 25 at 7 p.m.
The exhibition is part of a three-match swing through the Midwest for the Mexican National Team, where it will also take on Notre Dame and Michigan State.
Tickets are available and can be ordered by calling 888-GO-PURPLE or online HERE. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups and those attending the pre-match spring clinic. Concessions will be available for purchase on-site.
The clinic is open to boys and girls in the 8th grade and under and begins at 5:45 p.m. at Martin Stadium. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from both men's and women's soccer players. The $3 ticket will grant admission to both the clinic and the exhibition.

Northwestern is coming off one of the best seasons in program history. The Wildcats posted a 16-3-4 record and advanced to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998. The team's 16 wins tied a program record, and the 'Cats made a name for themselves on the defensive side, posting a school record and NCAA-leading 17 shutouts en route to the team's first ever Big Ten Championship.
