EVANSTON, Ill. — After playing seven of its first nine games of the season away from home, Northwestern will return to Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium on Sunday for the start of a three-game homestand beginning with a matchup against Louisville.

The Wildcats will play six of their last eight games at Martin Stadium. NU opened conference play on Thursday afternoon with a 10-8 victory over Michigan in the Big House that was highlighted by hat tricks from senior Danita Stroup and freshman Meghan Duffy.

STROUP THERE IT IS
Senior Danita Stroup stayed red hot in the Wildcats' win over Michigan Thursday, matching her career high with three goals for the third-straight game. Stroup has scored in eight of nine contests this season and has four-straight multi-goal games. Her 11 goals over the last four games have been key for the NU attack and she now ranks second on the team with 15 scores this season.

INTO THE FIRE
Freshman attacker Meghan Duffy has started each of the last two games and is taking advantage of her opportunity. After scoring her first career goal in a blowout victory over Marquette, Duffy earned her first career start at No. 2 North Carolina and scored her second goal of the season. On Thursday, Duffy recorded her first career hat trick on three shots. She joined Megan Kinna as the only NU freshman to score a hat trick this season.

GO, GO ESPO
Senior co-captain Christina Esposito enters Sunday on a career-long 25-game point streak dating back to last season. Esposito leads the Wildcats in goals (25), points (31), shots on goal (43), game-winning goals (2), free-position goals (8) and is second on the team with 10 caused turnovers. The Long Island native had a career-high six goals and seven points in a win over Marquette on March 11 and has been limited to a single point in just one game (at Stony Brook on March 5.)

FREDERICKS DOMINATING THE CIRCLE
Junior Shelby Fredericks is once again among the naton's leaders in draw controls, entering Sunday's game ranked fifth with 7.25 per game. She has averaged 10.5 draw controls per game over her last four contests, which includeds a pair of games with double digits. The Babylon, New York, native already ranks third in program history wit 253 career draw controls, needing just 16 to pass Kristen Kjellman for second.

DUH NUH NU...
Fredericks scored her second goal of the season in highlight fashion Thursday, earning herself the No. 9 spot on SportCenter's Top 10 for March 23.

FOR THE FIRST TIME
Freshman Sara Szynal made her collegiate debut in the Big Ten opener and quickly made an impact with her first career assist on a goal by classmate Meghan Duffy. Junior defender Ally Mueller also recorded her first career point wh
