Studio N Wins Emmy for 'The Foundation: Northwestern Basketball'

EVANSTON, Ill. – 'The Foundation: Northwestern Basketball' is bringing home the hardware.
The series, produced by Northwestern Athletics' own Studio N, won the Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sports Programs – Program Series.
"This is an incredible and well-deserved honor for our Broadcast Operations staff," said Deputy A.D. for External Affairs Mike Polisky. "They are critical to telling the story of our nearly 500 student-athletes, and continue to find new and engaging ways to accomplish that. The entire Northwestern community was captivated by the journey of our men's basketball program last spring, and Studio N was there every step of the way providing an unmatched behind-the-scenes perspective."
The Foundation: Northwestern Basketball, produced by Dallas Abel, Rob Coons, Cam Good, Ben Jenkins, and Ben Rohde, and hosted by the 'Voice of the Wildcats' Dave Eanet, gives an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the Northwestern men's basketball team, providing captivating content for Wildcats fans across the nation. Episode 7, which captured the Wildcats' NCAA Tournament experience, was submitted for nomination.
Other nominees for the award included: 'Packers Life,' 'The Extra Point: Behind the Scenes of Game 7 of the World Series,' and 'Late Night Snack with Henry.'
The Chicago/Midwest Regional Emmy Awards, presented by the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, were held on December 2nd at the Swissotel in downtown Chicago.
