NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After starting the season 4-0, Northwestern faces its biggest test yet with three games in three days at the Music City Challenge. The Wildcats play Chattanooga, Auburn, and Georgetown over Thanksgiving weekend, looking to remain unbeaten in the early going.
Chicago's Big Ten Team has started a season with four wins for the eighth time in the past nine years due to efficient offense and suffocating defense. Northwestern leads the Big Ten in field goal percentage (51 percent) and is tops in the conference in fewest points per game allowed (54.0) and opponent field goal percentage (32 percent).
The Wildcats have never played Chattanooga or Georgetown in program history. NU has met Auburn four times with the last coming in Nov. 1991, a 73-49 win over the No. 11 Tigers.
Fans can follow along all weekend with live stats through the Music City Challenge and by following @NUWBBall on Twitter. Links are in the table at the top of the page.
