EVANSTON, Ill. β Northwestern travels to the west coast to face No. 2 seed UCLA on Friday with a spot in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament on the line. Kick-off is set for 10 p.m. CT.

This is the third straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the Wildcats (12-7-3). The team has advanced to the Round of 32 each time.

The Wildcats' all-time record against the Bruins is 1-0, after defeating them 1-0 in Madison, Wisconsin, in 2010 when the Bruins were ranked No. 3. That win remains the highest-ranked opponent NU has ever beaten.

Chicago's Big Ten Team enters the contest coming off a thrilling first round home game against Butler last Sunday, when the 'Cats advanced on penalty kicks, 3-2. Northwestern has never lost a penalty kick shootout in program history.

The winner of this game will play the winner of Pepperdine and Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 19 in Los Angeles.
