
Tory Lindley Elected President of NATA

EVANSTON, Ill. – Tory Lindley, Northwestern's associate athletic director and head athletic trainer, has been elected president of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the organization announced Thursday.
Lindley is the 14th president of the organization and will serve a three-year term beginning in 2018. He will officially assume responsibility at the 2018 NATA Clinical Symposia and AT Expo in New Orleans.
"I want to thank my incredible family and my talented AT staff for their support," Lindley said. "We all share very high hopes for our great profession and a better destination is our shared responsibility."
Lindley is the current vice president of NATA.
He has served as Northwestern's Head Athletic Trainer since 2002, and in that capacity, supervises NU's staff athletic trainers and sports performance coaches. The 2011 Illinois Athletic Trainers' Association Hall of Fame inductee has received numerous awards for his work and leadership, including the 2016 Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association Golden Pinnacle Award, the association's highest honor.
