EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern is right back on the hardwood after an emotional win on Saturday when Michigan State comes to town Tuesday night.
 
The game is set for tip at 8 p.m. and will be televised live on Big Ten Network.
 
Northwestern (14-4, 3-2) and Michigan State (13-5, 3-2) are jockeying for position near the top of the Big Ten standings close to the midpoint of the conference season.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 67th meeting all-time between Northwestern and Michigan State. The teams have alternated wins in each of the last five games, with Michigan State taking the most recent, a 74-51 win last year. Michigan State leads the all-time series, 42-24, but the series is tied at 17 in Evanston. Northwestern last beat the Spartans on Jan. 15, 2015, a 77-70 win at home.
 
DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
Nia Coffey registered her 10th double-double of the year on Saturday against Indiana with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Twice this year, Coffey has posted back-to-back-to-back double-doubles. Her 10 double-doubles rank second in the Big Ten and 12th in the country. She has 50 for her career.
 
GRAND THEFT ASHLEY
Ashley Deary broke the Big Ten's all-time steals record on Jan. 3 against Ohio State with career steal No. 373 early in the first quarter. She now stands at 383 for her career and owns the top three NU single-season steals records, career record and Big Ten single season record, along with the Big Ten career record. She broke a 16-year-old record previously held by Michigan's Stacey Thomas. Deary is also the nation's current active career steals leader with 383 and leads the category by 62. She ranks fifth in the country this season and first in the Big Ten in steals per game with 4.00.
