Freshman Aubrey Roberts crossed the finish line 17th amongst impressive competition with a time of 22:16.2, followed closely by teammate Sarah Nicholson in 26th place with a time of 22:23.8 for the 6K course. The scoring eight also consisted of Junior Haley Albers (24:05.2), Junior Sara Coffey (24:30.6), Sophomore Hannah Anderson (24:49.2), Senior Ellen Schmitz (25:00.9), Junior Brooke Pigneri (25:56.9) and Senior Elena Miller (25:57.8).

"The race was a great preview for bigger competitions. It gave the ladies an idea how to navigate traffic and find each other in larger numbers. With that being said it also showed us as a team where our strengths lie as well as our weakness. This race will be a learning experience for the Big Ten Championships which will be here in just over a month," said Head Coach 'A Havahla Haynes.

The Wildcats will be back in competition next week in Iowa City, IA, when they take part in the Iowa Regional Preview on Oct. 1st.
