#B1GCats set to compete in Big Ten Championship this Sunday

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Les Bolstad Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn. will be the site of the 2016 Big Ten Women's Cross Country Championships on Sunday, Oct. 30th, hosted by the University of Minnesota. All 14 conference institutions will compete in the 6,000-meter (6K) race for the Big Ten title, which starts at 10 a.m. CST.

Meet Central
Head coach 'A Havahla Haynes' lineup for the event is led by newcomers, Freshmen Aubrey Roberts and Sarah Nicholson. The rookie standouts are joined by Senior returners Andrea Ostenso, Jena Pianin and Ellen Schmitz, and Juniors Brooke Pigneri, Haley Albers and Isabel Seidel. Sophomore Hannah Anderson will also compete.
Three Big Ten women's cross country teams are nationally ranked heading into the Big Ten Championships, with Michigan leading the way at No. 6, followed by Penn State at No. 9 and Michigan State at No. 27.
