'The Foundation: Northwestern Football' Debuts August 31

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern Football fans will have the opportunity to go behind closed doors and inside the Wildcats' quest for a 2016 Big Ten championship in The Foundation: Northwestern Football, debuting at 4:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, August 31, on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
A production from the award-winning Studio N and the producer of 'The Hunt', The Foundation will provide fans with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the 2016 Wildcats. The series will include never-before-seen access to practices, meetings, team travel and the lives of student-athletes off the field as Chicago's Big Ten Team progresses through the college football season.
The first season of The Foundation was released in the spring of 2015 and chronicled Northwestern football's spring practice campaign. A second season of the series, Northwestern Basketball - Summer 2015, chronicled the Wildcats' men's basketball program as it went through workouts in June and July, and culminated with the team's foreign tour of Spain.
Both seasons of The Foundation were named finalists for a College Sports Media Award for Outstanding Program Series, presented by Sports Video Group and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
While previous seasons of the series were distributed exclusively online, each of the eight episodes of The Foundation: Northwestern Football will be a full half-hour show on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and also will be available via BTN2Go in addition to NUSports.com and on the Northwestern Athletics YouTube page.
Coming off a school-record 10-win season in 2015, the Wildcats kick off the 2016 campaign when they host Western Michigan at Ryan Field Sept. 3.
