OMAHA, Neb. — In the final race of the 2015 U.S. Olympic Trials, Northwestern's Jordan Wilimovsky finished second in the 1500 free with a time of 14:49.19, which qualified him again for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team.

Wilimovsky, who already qualified for the Games in the open water event by winning the 10-kilometer open-water swimming title at the World Championships last year, is the first American ever to qualify for the Olympic Games in both open water and the pool in the same year.

The finals for the 1500 free in Rio are slated for August 13, while Wilimovsky's open water 10k will take place just three days later on August 16.
