2016 Volleyball Schedule
EVANSTON, Ill. – Season ticket packages for the 2016 Northwestern volleyball season are now on sale.
Fans can purchase season tickets for the Wildcats' 10-match home slate by calling the Northwestern ticket office at 888-GO-PURPLE or by visiting NUsports.com.
Adult season tickets are available for $49 and youth tickets are just $29. The Northwestern family plan admits two adults and three youth for $99.
Single-match tickets are also available. Those are $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups of 15 or more.
Northwestern volleyball is playing its final season before Welsh-Ryan Arena undergoes a $110 million renovation, with anticipated completion before the start of the 2018 season.
Chicago's Big Ten Team plays its first home match of 2016 on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. against Penn State. The Wildcats play nine more times at Welsh-Ryan Arena, with matches against Iowa (Oct. 1), Illinois (Oct. 5), Michigan (Oct. 12), Purdue (Oct. 21) and Indiana (Oct. 23). The team concludes the home schedule with a four-match stand in mid-November vs. Wisconsin (Nov. 12), Minnesota (Nov. 13), Ohio State (Nov. 18) and Maryland (Nov. 19).
Northwestern returns 13 players from last year's team, including All-Big Ten and All-AVCA setter Taylor Tashima. Returning middle blocker Maddie Slater is coming off one of the best single-season hitting performances in program history. She hit at a .344 clip, the fourth-best mark at Northwestern. Kayla Morin is the team's active career leader in kills with 843.
