ALl-BIG TEN ATTACK
Senior Kaleigh Craig and sophomore Selena Lasota were named to the All-Big Ten Team Wednesday. Craig and Lasota are tied for the team lead with 41 goals this season and both ranked in the top 10 in the league during conference-only play in goals and points. Craig was named a unanimous selection by the league's coaches and Lasota named an at-large selection to earn her second-consecutive All-Big Ten honor.

TAKE RIGHT OVER
Sophomore Selena Lasota refused to let the Wildcats lose in their regular season finale against No. 19 Ohio State last week. After Ohio State tied the game at 11, Lasota scored back-to-back goals in a span of 42 seconds and went on to score five goals in the second half alone as the 'Cats closed the game on an 11-2 run. She finished the game with a career-high eight goals, one assist, six draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls to earn her second Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor this season. Her eight goals were the most scored by a player in a single game in the Big Ten this season and tied the second most in a game in program history.

CAREER DAYS
Senior Kaleigh Craig, junior Christina Esposito and freshman Leighton Yenor each had career-best days in the 22-13 victory over Ohio State. Craig finished the afternoon with four goals and two assists to tie her career high with six points, Esposito had a career-high four assists and a goal to match her career high of five points and Yenor scored a season-best three goals.

YENOR ADDS SCORING PUNCH
Freshman Leighton Yenor enters the Big Ten Tournament having scored each in of the last four games and having at least two in three consecutive games. The freshman from Orlando, Florida has appeared in just eight games this season but hit the double-digit mark in scoring last week with her career-best three goals against Ohio State. Yenor has seven goals in her last three games entering Thursday's contest against Michigan.

A TALE OF TWO STORIES
The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 3-2 record in Big Ten play to earn the No. 3 seed in this week's Big Ten Tournament at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium. The 'Cats were explosive in their three victories, scoring 20 goals against Michigan and Rutgers and a season-best 22 goals against Ohio State. However, Chicago's Big Ten Team gave up 17 goals in each of its Big Ten losses to Maryland and Penn State.

HOME SWEET HOME
Northwestern will host the 2016 Big Ten Tournament on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan this week and will look to take advantage of their friendly confines. The Wildcats went 6-2 at home during the regular season and have won 115 of their last 125 games on the shores of Lake Michigan. NU hosted Michigan at Martin Stadium earlier this season and jumped out to a 15-0 halftime lead before ultimately coming away with a 20-4 victory.

LAST TIME THEY MET
Northwestern became the first program to score 20 goals in a Big Ten women's lacrosse game in defeating Michigan, 20-4. Selena Lasota scored six goals and had three ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover, surpassing the 100-career point mark in the process. The 'Cats jumped out a 15-0 halftime lead and ultimately led by as much as 17-0 before the Wolverines got on the board. Christina Esposito had three goals and two assists for a career-high five points, Kaleigh Craig had a hat trick and Shelby Fredericks had a goal, two assists and a team-high six draw controls.

KEEP IT ROLLIN'
The Northwestern offense has found its stride since being held to a season-low tying four goals against No. 1 Maryland on March 31. The 'Cats have scored 117 goals in their last seven games (16.6/game) entering the tournament, including three games of 20 or more. No other team in the Big Ten score 20 ore more goals in conference play this season while the 'Cats did it three times.

35 to 100
Sophomore Selena Lasota became the fastest player in program history to score 100 goals when she hit the century mark versus Rutgers in what was her 35th career game. Lasota set a NU single-season freshman record with 69 goals last season and is second on the team with 33 goals this year. After scoring just 15 goals in the team's first 10 games, Lasota has scored 18 goals in the last five contests (3.6/game).
